Working Residential Structure Fire - Holly Springs Rd - Holly Springs, North Carolina Just before 6pm on April 20th the Holly Springs Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 9000 block of Holly Springs Road. While enroute Raleigh Wake Emergency Communications Center received numerous calls reporting smoke and flames coming from a house. Holly Springs Engine 1 arrived at a 1 story residential with smoke and fire coming from the roof, quickly getting water on the fire while Ladder 14 started a primary search and Battalion 1 established command. Cary Engine 6 laid a supply line to a hydrant on Lassiter Road to establish a water supply. The fire was quickly knocked down, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
