You had just lit a small fire outside your tent on a snowy winter night when a cold rain suddenly came pouring down — so you ducked back inside, and now you're tucked into the roomy front room of a big two-room tent, looking out through its wide-open door as the downpour settles into a steady rain on the fabric just above your head. Just outside the door, under a tarp pitched high and wide, the little fire is still burning: a square black iron fire box on short legs, a small copper kettle resting on the grill, and low flames glowing quietly at the bottom of the box. Beside it stands a folding wooden chair turned toward you, with a small stack of firewood at its side — and on its seat, a little bird figurine has already closed its eyes for the night. Beyond the tarp, old snow lies on the ground and on the young spruce trees, and cold rain falls in long silver lines over the snowy forest — nothing is snowing tonight, only the rain. Inside, everything is dry and warm: a thick cream knitted blanket on a low camp cot, and a lantern glowing on a small folding table beside a steel thermos. 3 hours of steady rain on a tent with a small crackling campfire on a snowy night — no music, no thunder, no interruptions. Safe for anyone who doesn't like thunder: there are no thunder sounds in this video. 🌧 What you'll hear • Steady rain pattering on the polyester tent fabric right above your head • A small campfire crackling softly out front, with rain tapping on the tarp above it • Cold rain falling over the snowy spruce forest beyond, and the occasional drip • No wind, no thunder — just steady rain and a quiet fire all night 🔥 Good for • Drifting off with the fire still glowing while the cold rain falls on the snow • Anyone who loves winter camping, camping in the rain, cozy tents and campfires • Masking traffic, neighbours or a restless mind • Studying, reading or unwinding on a rainy evening The first 7 seconds fade in gently so the sound never startles you. Set your volume low — this soundscape is mixed quiet on purpose, like actually lying in that tent while the rain drums on the fabric and the fire crackles just outside. This scene and soundscape were carefully crafted and sound-designed for rest — every raindrop and every crackle balanced so nothing pulls you back awake. Good night from the little bird. 🐦 🔔 A new rainy night every day — subscribe here:    / @pouringcalm   Rainpip merch (mugs, tees, blankets & more): https://pouringcalm-shop.fourthwall.com #rainsounds #campfire #wintercamping
