How to Get into a Painter Apprenticeship Program with No Experience. Episode #4

Painters keep the construction world looking sharp. Learn how to join the painters’ apprenticeship, what skills you’ll pick up, and how fast you can start earning. No experience required — just a steady hand. Painters make all of the necessary preparations prior to application. Work will be performed on all types of buildings, both interior and exterior. Apprentices starting salary is above $20 hourly. Qualifications/Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age or 17 with written parental consent. Applicant must have High School Diploma or GED. Applicant must be able to pass a color blindness test. Benefits As an employee and union member you will be afforded excellent medical, dental and optical coverage as well as vacation and pension plan benefits. Program Apprentices will attend school 160 hours per year.
