some mainline action from Thursday and Friday this week, beginning with Colas BR Large Logo 37424 on a light engine move between Exeter and Bristol while spending a week on the Exeter based UTU test train. The following day on Friday we saw the star turn of another Avonmouth routed move for a brand new GBRF Class 99 as Great British Railfreight welcomed the fourteenth Stadler Class 99 Co-Co Bimode locomotive, 99014 at Avonmouth Docks and today it was moved by rail behind GBRF 47749 'City of Truro' to Leicester L.I.P. These locomotives continue to arrive from Valencia after being tested in Europe based on Stadler's proven EuroDual platform, and after the steady growth of the fleet over the past year    • Class 99s as it happened! The first 9 in t...   these next generation locomotives are now finding work in UK, able to seamlessly operate across both electrified and non-electrified lines, bringing unparalleled flexibility to the freight network.
