Filmed by Trevor Wilson. This is in November 1980 despite Dad's slightly misleading narration at the start. He added the narration sometime after the cruise, which made it sound like past tense. Trevor starts in Melbourne, presumably on a business trip with Alan Miles (Miles Electronics) and then meets his wife Margaret in Sydney with good friends Doug and Wendy Robinson (and Doug's father). The cruise starts from Sydney aboard the Fairstar, and travels up the coast to Surfer's Paradise and Brisbane, then on to Nouméa and Tonga. Mum's comment that Tonga is "a bit cooler than Fiji" is likely a comparison and not an indication that Fiji was part of this cruise. The film cuts to a separate occasion at 11:34, where the family are aboard the Sea Princess (not at sea). This features Margaret's parents, Dave and Connie Linch, as well as her children Ross, Jan and Brett Wilson. Not sure on the timeline of this visit to the docked ship, but Connie is heard saying that she can't wait to go on another cruise. Trevor added music in the background to this film, which I have removed. This affected some of the audio but makes it less distracting, in my opinion. The subtitles should help.
