How to Export PowerPoint Files for TpT Products

What file type should you use when saving a PowerPoint printable or TpT product? In this quick tutorial, I’m walking through several ways you can save and export a PowerPoint file depending on what you need the finished product to do. We’ll look at how to: Save a PowerPoint as a PDF Export slides as JPEG images Export slides as PNG images Save all slides at once Choose between Save As and Export Create image files you can use inside finished products Use Flat Pack as another option for creating flattened files One reason this matters for TpT sellers is that your editable PowerPoint file is not always the file you want to give to your customer. Sometimes you need: A PDF for printing PNG or JPEG images for graphics A flattened file that protects the individual design elements An editable PowerPoint file when the product is intentionally editable In this video, I show you the built-in PowerPoint options on Windows and how I personally use them when creating educational printables. I also briefly show how I use Flat Pack when I want to create a flattened PDF more quickly.
