Known as the largest county fair in the state, this 6-day event draws over 200,000 people. Experience the energy of Illinois’ biggest county fair! In this video, I’m taking you through the heart of the Boone County Fair. We’ll walk through the poultry barns filled with "cocky" roosters and newborn chicks, see the scale of the prize-winning Midwest corn, and marvel at the detailed fairy gardens and homemade treats. Of course, no fair trip is complete without the food and the rides. I'm checking out "Food Alley," finding a great deal on lunch, and watching the brave riders on the Zipper and Pharaoh’s Fury.
