Harry Potter Drone Show Review | Everything You Need to Know Before You Go

If you've been wondering whether the Harry Potter™ DroneArt Show at Subaru Park is worth it, this video walks you through our entire experience from arrival to the final drone. We cover what to expect, seating options, food, merchandise, and a few things we wish we had known before we went. The event takes place outside at Subaru Plaza, not inside the soccer stadium itself. The show features 1,200 synchronized drones recreating iconic Harry Potter moments, accompanied by music from the films. Doors opened two hours before showtime, giving families plenty of time to find seats, grab food, and explore the merchandise. The show itself lasted about an hour, including a short intermission, although timing may vary slightly depending on the evening. In this video I share: • The differences between Section A, Section B, and Lawn seating • Why I would personally choose the Lawn section next time • What the check-in and security process was like • The complimentary interactive LED wristbands (and why ours were a little disappointing) • Merchandise and food options • How much we spent feeding our family • What I packed that kept my kids entertained before the show • Tips I would absolutely do differently next time A few of my biggest tips: • Bring a blanket or picnic blanket, even if you don't have Lawn tickets. It gives kids a comfortable place to sit and play while everyone waits for the show to begin. • Dress warmer than you think you need. Even in the middle of summer, it cooled off quite a bit once the sun went down. • Plan your food budget. Stadium food adds up quickly. Feeding our family with items like chicken tenders, hot dogs, cheesesteaks, and drinks cost us around $130. • Don't expect the complimentary LED wristbands to work perfectly. They are a really fun idea and are included with admission, but several in our group either didn't light up correctly or didn't sync during parts of the show. Staff happily exchanged them, but they're worth thinking about if you have a child who may be disappointed if theirs doesn't work. • If you're choosing between Section A and Section B, I actually think Section B offers a better value. We sat in Section A, but because the show takes place outside the stadium near the practice fields, poles and structures partially blocked portions of our view. Sitting farther back helped, but if I had known beforehand, I probably would have purchased Lawn tickets instead for the completely unobstructed view. One thing I really loved was seeing how many families dressed up. There were robes everywhere, house scarves, and lots of people carrying their wands.
