"High School Montage" - Life at Merrillville High School in 2001 & 2002

Back during my junior and senior years at Merrillville High School, I carried a video camera to school and documented my daily routines. Long before cell phones were everywhere and social media existed, I wanted to capture my friends, classmates, favorite teachers, and the moments that made high school special—hoping that one day I'd be able to relive those memories. In the summer of 2002, I edited some of those moments together into this little montage. Hopefully, you'll catch a glimpse of yourself, a friend, a classroom, or a memory that brings a smile to your face. I often tell my current students not to be in such a hurry. Hold on to these moments as long as you can. The days move fast, and time flies by. In the end, it's the memories we leave behind that bring us the greatest joy.
