JUST CONFIRMED? THEIR LAST-ROUND PICK IS ALREADY THIS GOOD? KYLE MONANGAI BEARS NEWS

Kyle Monangai went No. 233 overall in the 2025 draft, seventh round, and on Monday night he and D'Andre Swift combined for over 100 rushing yards in a 27-7 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, with Monangai publicly thanking QB Case Keenum and crediting OC Press Taylor for the game plan. This video isn't the recap: it's about the label that keeps getting attached to weeks like his. "Day Three" isn't a scouting grade, it's a broadcast category the NFL itself uses to bundle rounds four through seven into a single day of draft coverage, which means pick 105 and pick 256 carry the identical label. Calling Monangai's week a "steal" grades him against a TV schedule, not against how Chicago's own staff valued him. We also look at why Ben Johnson's scheme, the Swift/Monangai cap math, and Tom Brady's own sixth-round path all point at the same lesson: the round number on a draft card was never built to predict anything. — SOURCES — Chicago Bears official team page, Kyle Monangai bio and roster status: https://www.chicagobears.com/team/pla...
