What happens when we die? | The History of Fitzroy Football Club, Episode 9: 1996

It's over. After 1996, the Fitzroy Football Club will no longer be an AFL team. The money has finally run out, the heart has finally stopped beating, the fight for victory cannot be seen through. Win or lose, they do or die, but what happens to a club when death is the only option? This is the ninth episode in a ten-part recollection of the history of the Fitzroy Football Club, which covers the entirety of Fitzroy's 1996 AFL campaign. Fox Footy's The Merge documentary was a great resource and makes superb watching in conjunction with this series:    • The Merge   The skit at the end contains a pastiche to this Local 58 video.
