Scratch Built A-7 Corsair II Maiden Flight

Maiden flight of a scratch built A-7 Corsair II, aka "SLUF". This is based on Jetworks.online plans, enlarged 150%. This makes it slightly larger than the vintage JHH A-7, but being all foam and 3D printed parts it weighs about 9.5 lbs. Power is a Freewing 80mm EDF on a tired HRB 6S 5000. Radio is Spektrum, with a 10 channel AS3X+ receiver and an iX14+SE transmitter. Overall, I'm very pleased. The nose gear hung up during retraction, which partially blocks the intake duct. I think it'll fly better with a fresher pack and with fully retracted nose gear. #SLUF #Jetworks #JustPlaneChris #Spektrum
