A GT3 car is meant to be the universal race car. Buy one, and you can enter it at Daytona, at Le Mans, at Spa, at Bathurst, at Suzuka. One homologation, four continents, dozens of championships. That was the whole idea. Except every series that runs them adds its own rules on top. Three different organisations set the Balance of Performance. Every championship mandates a different tyre. The driver line-up that's legal in one is illegal in another. And the World Endurance Championship's version of the car runs equipment nothing else uses at all.
