[HD] MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS LIVE at『UNIT (TOKYO)』09/22/2008

Reupload as the original quality was terrible. 日本語訳あり~ A higher resolution version of a video already on here. I exported it at a weird resolution so Youtube wouldn't crunch it, hopefully there's no weird artifacting... Like my last motfd upload, this was taken from the bonus DVD given to those who ordered "World is Yours" during a 48-hour period. This performance is awesome, mainly because it's really high quality and happens to feature Chiemi! I love the frenetic camera work, and it reminds me of how fantastic their early style was. She somehow creates such a killer tone even with such few pedals. Looking at other videos featuring her pre Zero Comma board compelled me to buy a Sobbat Drive Breaker a few months back (The pedal underneath her tuner) and this thing absolutely rips. It's such a tasteful, explosive distortion that assaults you with a wall of sound when you dial it in right, I can confidently call it my favorite guitar pedal. A little side ramble! For those curious about what Chiemi has been up to musically, I found out that in 2021, an artist named hiraimie (平井ミエ) released a single CD called "夢の船". The three tracks included all feature Chiemi Ishimoto on guitar! Her tone is very similar to what you'd hear on Zero Comma, and one of the songs even has a cheeky little nod to ONE DAY. She only has 3 monthly listeners on Spotify which is pretty cruel, so if you could, please give her a listen. That's about it, enjoy! None of this belongs to me, all rights go to their respective owners.
