Meals: Western lunch, mid-flight JAL special udon noodles, and pre-landing chicken with rice
Our honest verdict: Is JAL Premium Economy worth it for a transpacific flight?
📍 Flight details:
Airline: Japan Airlines (JAL)
Flight: JL067
Route: Seattle (SEA) → Tokyo Narita (NRT)
Aircraft: Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner
Duration: 9h 50m
Date: June 20, 2025
💡 Our Verdict:
For about $860 per person, JAL Premium Economy delivered spacious seating, thoughtful amenities, excellent service, and delicious Japanese touches like udon noodles and green tea. The Delta Sky Club at SEA is a much better lounge option than The Club SEA, but overall, JAL Premium Economy is a solid choice for comfort on a long-haul journey.
