Bushwhacking for Powder Stashes on Glades Trail “Eclipse” - Stratton, Vermont Snowboarding

January 19, 2026. Unfortunately my gopro got corrupted during this run and I'm missing part of it, but still got some really sick clips of us riding through untouched powder in the "Eclipse" glades. Just required a little bit of bushwhacking. We drove up in the wee hours (4am) to get to Stratton which surprisingly didn’t have a blackout date today for the Ikon pass. And there were no lines at all too, crazy. I think Stratton was still recovering from the rain they had last week, but over 8 inches fell Saturday and while most of the trails got tracked out, there was some really great powder stashes left over. The main trails had lots of exposed rocks and ice, and some of the glades too but once you adventured out it got so good.
