벳시 레그(Betsy Legg)는 1970년대 초반 미국 애틀랜타를 중심으로 활동한 미국의 여성 포크 싱어송라이터이자 음악가입니다. 테네시주 브리스톨 출신으로, 맑고 깨끗한 미성과 어쿠스틱 기타 연주가 특징인 아티스트입니다. Joan Baez와 같은 정통 포크 뮤지션들의 영향을 받았으며, 당시 애틀랜타의 유명 클럽이었던 'Dante's Down-The-Hatch' 등에서 정기적으로 공연을 펼쳤습니다. 그녀가 남긴 유일한 독집 음반이자 셀프 타이틀 앨범인 "Betsy"는 1971~1972년경 BCG Records를 통해 프라이빗 프레스(자체 제작 형식) LP로 발매되었습니다. 현재는 희귀음반(Rare LP)으로 분류되어 포크 음악 수집가들 사이에서 숨겨진 명반으로 평가받고 있습니다. 참고로 그녀는 전문 프로 가수가 아닌 순수한 아마추어이라 앨범은 직접 쓴 곡 대신 당대 포크/팝 거장들의 노래를 재해석한 커버 곡들로 채워져 있습니다. 밥 딜런, 레너드 코헨, 존 덴버, 고든 라이트풋 등의 명곡을 커버했습니다.
