Raj Thackeray’s :The Night He Left Bal Thackeray | Untold Political Story

A family. A political empire. A rebellion that changed Maharashtra’s politics forever. In November 2005, Raj Thackeray made a decision that would change the course of his political career — he left Shiv Sena, the party led by his uncle and political mentor, Bal Thackeray. But what led to this dramatic split? Was it a battle for political leadership? A clash of personalities? Or a deeper family conflict that had been building for years? In this cinematic political documentary, NexusDoc explores the rise of Raj Thackeray, his close connection with Bal Thackeray, the growing political prominence of Uddhav Thackeray, and the events that led to Raj Thackeray’s departure from Shiv Sena. From the political atmosphere of 1990s Mumbai to the formation of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) in 2006, this story explores ambition, loyalty, family relationships, political rivalry, and the price of choosing a different path. We also revisit the emotional significance of Bal Thackeray’s final days in 2012, when political rivalry and personal relationships became part of a much larger story. In this documentary, we explore: Raj Thackeray’s early political journey His relationship with Bal Thackeray The rise of Uddhav Thackeray within Shiv Sena The political circumstances surrounding the 2005 split The formation of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) The lasting impact of the Thackeray family’s political divisions Was Raj Thackeray’s departure an act of rebellion, a fight for political identity, or the beginning of a new chapter in Maharashtra’s politics?
