🎧 A deep dive into the classic house sound of Body & Soul NYC. Mixed by Dave M. 🎛 This mix pays tribute to the deep/soulful/spiritual house sounds of Francois K, Danny Krivit and Joe Claussell’s legendary Body & Soul club night. I happened to come across a chart Danny Krivit recently put on Traxsource, celebrating Body & Soul’s 30th Anniversary. When scanning the tracks, I realised how many I already owned and, after I (naturally) picked up a few more, I thought it might be fun to put a session together based solely on that very list. The set revolves around those halcyon late 90s / early 00s, where the scene was thriving and the deep and soulful house sound was really coming into it's own.
