Four beds. Two seat belts. Fifty-five thousand pounds. That is one real motorhome for sale in Britain right now — and it is not broken, not ancient and not a scam. It is simply built that way. In this video I go through 59 used motorhomes listed at Brownhills in Newark, one of Britain's biggest motorhome dealers, and pull out the ten that sleep six people. Then I check how many of them can actually carry six people with seat belts. The answer is uncomfortable: most of them cannot. WHAT YOU WILL SEE The real difference between berths (beds) and travel seats (seat belts) — and why the two numbers are never the same Ten named motorhomes from £41,995 to £94,995, with the asking price, the bed layout and the seat belt count for each one The UK law that matters: how many people a motorhome is legally allowed to carry, and where that is written down The 3,500 kg line — what it means for your licence, and why a heavier motorhome can need a C1 entitlement The turn at the end: a Bailey Autograph 79-6 with six berths and six belts for £49,995 — the one van here that carries everyone it sleeps Three things to check before you travel to see a van If you are shopping for a six berth motorhome in the UK, this is the check to do before you fall in love with a layout. Used motorhome prices move, so confirm the current price and availability before you travel to see one. A NOTE ON THE IMAGES Most of the footage here is real dealer and owner video of the actual models named. Six short illustrations are AI generated and labelled on screen: they explain concepts such as the licence weight rules and never pretend to be a real vehicle, a real interior or a real document. ALWAYS CHECK, NOT ON THE ADVERT Berths and travel seats differ from model to model and from year to year. Confirm the seat belt count on the specific vehicle's V5C and its MOT record, not on the advert. Rules on wild camping, parking and weight limits differ between England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland — always check the current guidance for where you are going.
