The project begins by dismantling battered pallets and milling lumber into clean pine boards. Using traditional techniques, the builder hand-cuts precise dovetail joints to assemble the box structure. Detail shines as he constructs the barrel-top roof with intricate lattice carvings and geometric inlay panels. Every element is bespoke, down to the custom-forged iron hinges and latches, hammered and welded from scrap metal before being riveted into the dark-stained wood.
