Kedar Tal - A Hidden Lake Above Gangotri Kedartal, also known as Shiva’s Lake, is a pristine glacial lake situated at an altitude of 4,750 meters in the Garhwal Himalayas. Surrounded by towering peaks like Thalay Sagar, Jogin, and Bhrigupanth, this turquoise-blue lake is one of the most breathtaking high-altitude treks in Uttrakhand. 🚶‍♂ The journey to Kedartal is an adventurous trek starting from Gangotri, passing through dense forests, rocky trails, and mesmerizing alpine landscapes. The serene beauty of the lake, crystal-clear reflections of snow-capped mountains, and the spiritual aura of the Himalayas make it a dream destination for trekkers and nature lovers. I did this trek ( 14 June-17 June 2025 ) with a trekking agency 'Soul Seeker' which is owned by Mr Sourav Panwar. I had an awesome experience with Soul Seeker.
