Motivation for Faithfulness

Title: Motivation for Faithfulness Speaker: Rev. John Vermeer Date: October 4, 2026 Bible: Hebrews 3:1-6 This sermon explores the motivation for Christian faithfulness by examining the superior status of believers and the supremacy of Jesus Christ over Moses. It argues that believers are not ordinary but are holy brothers and sisters set apart for a unique role, sharing in a heavenly calling that transcends earthly concerns. The central theme emphasizes that Jesus, as the faithful Son and High Priest, is the ultimate source of motivation, having built and preserved God's house. The preacher encourages the congregation to hold fast to their confidence and boasting in hope, reflecting Christ's faithfulness in their own words and deeds. This call to steadfastness is presented as a response to the grace of God and the enduring nature of the spiritual house established by Christ. https://www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/1...
