Make a Charred Whisky Barrel Finish Wood Ring

I show you how to easily make a wooden ring with nothing but the most basic of tools- a hack saw and a drill press- and a few other odds and ends. This is my first video of many to come, so please leave me feedback on what could be better, any details I didn't elaborate on enough, etc. Skill level: Beginner Tools required: Minimal Complete list of required items- Drill Press Hack Saw Hole saws for inside and outside sizes of ring Rasp or coarse file (OPTIONAL but helps speed things up) Threaded rod OR bolt with fully threaded shank Nuts and washers to fit ^^^ Dowel Rod (3/8" or so) Sandpaper- 60-320 grit Strong tape (fiber reinforced packing tape is best) Scrap wood block 6"+ long Don't forget to subscribe to see more awesome tips and tutorials!
