😱 BRICS 2026: Delhi’s WORLD-CLASS Transformation 🇮🇳 | Dhaula Kuan to Bharat Mandapam VIP Route! Instagram :   / newway.journey   Delhi is looking completely different after sunset! 🇮🇳✨ In today’s Newway Journey, we continue our BRICS 2026 Delhi transformation series with a spectacular night drive from NH-48 near Manekshaw Auditorium towards Dhaula Kuan, Shanti Path, Central Delhi and finally Bharat Mandapam. This time, we are experiencing the route after dark — when fountains, decorative lighting, illuminated landmarks, landscaped roads and the iconic buildings of Central Delhi create a completely different atmosphere. 🚗 OUR NIGHT JOURNEY: We begin on NH-48 near Manekshaw Auditorium, where the night-time fountain work and illumination immediately give us a glimpse of the transformation taking place along this important corridor. From there, we continue towards Dhaula Kuan, passing through one of Delhi’s major transportation gateways before moving towards the Dhaula Kuan Metro area and the Moti Bagh side. The journey then takes us along Shanti Path, where the landscaped surroundings, roundabouts, lighting and greenery create one of the most visually impressive night-drive experiences in Delhi. As we move deeper into Central Delhi, the character of the journey changes. Historic landmarks and modern infrastructure start appearing together, taking us towards the Purana Qila and Pragati Maidan area. And finally… 🇮🇳 BHARAT MANDAPAM! We approach Bharat Mandapam from the opposite side, take a U-turn and get our first major night-time exterior view of this iconic convention complex. But we don't stop there. For a few moments, we step out of the car and experience the area on foot at night — taking in the waterbody, landscaped surroundings, reflections and the illuminated Bharat Mandapam. And at the end of the journey, we'll also revisit some of our earlier footage from inside Bharat Mandapam, giving you a different perspective of this major international venue. 🌍 WHY IS THIS ROUTE IMPORTANT? With India hosting the BRICS 2026 Leaders’ Summit in New Delhi, several important corridors connecting the airport, major hotels, Central Delhi and Bharat Mandapam have received special attention in terms of beautification, lighting, landscaping and presentation. This video is not just about roads and buildings. It is about experiencing Delhi after dark and seeing how the city's major gateways and international corridors come together to create a completely different visual experience at night. 🎥 WATCH TILL THE END because the final Bharat Mandapam night sequence gives us a completely different perspective of the transformation. 🇮🇳 BRICS 2026 | DELHI TRANSFORMATION SERIES This is part of our ongoing journey to explore how Delhi is preparing for BRICS 2026 and how its roads, landmarks, public spaces and major corridors are being presented to the world. Delhi is a city and a union territory of India. It is bordered by Haryana on three sides and by Uttar Pradesh to the east. The NCT covers an area of 1,484 sq km (573 sq mi). According to the 2011 census, Delhi city proper's population was over 11 million, the second-highest in India after Mumbai. Delhi's urban area is now considered to extend beyond the NCT boundary and include the neighbouring cities of Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad in an area now called Central National Capital Region (CNCR) with an estimated 2016 population of over 26 million people, making it the world's second-largest urban area after Tokyo (Japan) according to United Nations. It is the second-wealthiest city after Mumbai in India, with a total wealth of $450 billion and home to 18 billionaires and 23,000 millionaires. Delhi has the highest per capita GDP in India with ₹3,29,000 (US$4,600) and total GDP stood at ₹6.86 lakh crore (US$96 billion). Delhi has been continuously inhabited since the 6th century BC. Through most of its history, Delhi has served as a capital of various kingdoms and empires. It has been captured, ransacked and rebuilt several times, particularly during the medieval period, and modern Delhi is a cluster of a number of cities spread across the metropolitan region.
