National Park is one of the series' most recognizable themes, originally composed by Go Ichinose for Pokémon Gold & Silver. Sochor performs the piece with drummer Abe Lagrimas and bassist Eric Nakamoto, presenting the melody through an extended solo piano introduction before drums and bass enter with driving energy. Recorded in Honolulu, Hawaii, “National Park” offers an early look at the acoustic jazz arrangements featured on Sochor’s upcoming album, Not a Phone in Sight. 🎵 Stream this album ▸ http://vgm.fm/NationalParkJazz 💿 Vinyl & Merch: https://gamechops.shop –Support GameChops – ❖ Shop: https://gamechops.shop (Vinyl, Shirts, & more) ❖ Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/GameChops?sub... ❖ Email List: https://gamechops.substack.com Credits Piano by Christina Sochor Drums by Abe Lagrimas Double Bass by Eric Nakamoto Single Art by snake.bird Engineerd by Michael Surprenant Executive Produced by Chris Davidson Composed by Go Ichinose Originally from Pokémon Gold & Silver ▾ Support Christina Socher with a follow ▾   / steminist.but.like.jazz      / @christinasochor     / christinasochor   ▾ Folow GameChops ▾   / gamechops     / gamechops   https://bsky.app/profile/gamechops.com http://x.com/GameChops   / gamechops   ▸ http://www.GameChops.com ▾ About GameChops GameChops is a record label dedicated to video game music.
