This Vajrasattrva purification practice is one of our weekly online practices, held each Tuesday at 8:30pm This recording is one of a series of recordings of meditation and pujas we are doing over Christmas 2025, so that everyone has access to them during the festive period and beyond. About the Vajrasattva purification practice: This practice uses the four opponent powers to purify all negative action of the body, speech and mind, accumulated from beginningless rebirths. The meaning of the mantra: 'You, Vajrasattva, have generated the holy mind (of Bodhicitta) according to your Samaya. Your holy mind is enriched with the simultaneously born holy action of liberating transmigratory beings from samsara. Whatever happiness and suffering, good and bad, happens to me, by my pleasing the holy mind, never give me up and guide me. Please stabilise the realisations of the path and bhumis, including the happiness of the upper realms; actualise all actions and the common sublime realisations; and make the glory of the five wisdoms abide in my heart.'
