Project: Megaman Zero, where I attempt to perfect the entire game with No Damage and a 100 point S rank at the end of each stage. One of the major goals here is to give light to Zero's overall arsenal instead of just relying on one or two.
I've got all my relevant Mega Man videos organized in playlists on the front of my channel page. It's ever-growing, but you'll see more than just Megaman Zero in the future. Thanks for dropping by.
We have a... devil boss, Rainbow Devil. Considering this late in the series timeline-wise, it's weird seeing one of these bosses, but hey, callbacks are always nice.

-Stage Overview:
Somewhat of a breather stage; the calm before the storm, you might say. The ascension stage is self-explanatory, aside from maybe one part: those solid block platforms that emit electricity. This part gave me a bit of trouble because of how you can easily tap the jump button too many times when you're trying to wiggle your way between the first and second blocks to progress. The window of opportunity to get through and jump onto the third block is so tight because the electricity always starts at the top of the block. Sure, I could have just waited, but this mission in particular has somewhat of a strict time limit for the full 20 points, so I had to get through it as quick as possible. Thankfully, the enemy defeat count on the other hand is a joke to achieve in this stage, for the requirement's quite low -- rightfully so for a short-lived stage.
-Boss Overview:
The Rainbow Devil's not that much of a big deal, either. While he does have one aspect of randomness, you can condition him to do what you want if you avoid standing directly in front of him. He shuffles through his limited moveset at random, but when you've got the distance like shown here, he gives you ample time to react with little to no difficulty. Triple Rod's actually a bad weapon here due to the hurtbox of Rainbow devil being his head only, and once he ascends from his ground sink, the rod will miss, even if you arc it diagonally for some reason. Saber cancel with the shield is more reliable and faster here (well... really for every boss, but it's especially superior here), even though I could have been a lot more aggressive with it. I was just tired of dealing with that block segment that I just didn't concern myself with how long it took to kill this thing.
Overall Difficulty: 2/10
