It is the recommended process for self-realization in the modern age. It has the gradual effect of cleansing your heart and mind, helping you to awaken and cultivate your inherent wisdom and spiritual love. The chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra or maha-mantra (the great prayer for deliverance: Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare) is the prime benediction for this age. For this age, the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra is the authoritatively recommended means of self-realization. Self-realization is an individual (rather than a team) pursuit or endeavor.
