4K - Brand New! Metrolink EMD F125 Locomotive in Oceanside: First Visit to San Diego County!

Back on October 28th, I got word that Metrolink was running their brand new EMD F125 Tier 4 unit on the Orange County Line, in regular revenue service. Therefore, this would mark the first visit for a F125 into San Diego County since entering Metrolink's fleet a few months prior. After over a year of testing and after delivery manufacture problems and defects that needed to be repaired, the Tier 4 locomotives are slowly starting to be seen on the mainline and on revenue Metrolink trains. More often than not, an older EMD F59PH locomotive is 2nd in consist, ready to help if need be. I caught SCAX #907 on trains 664 and 667 in the Oceanside area. Also threw in various clips of Amtrak and Metrolink trains heading through the area while waiting for the train of honor. Good luck F125's, here's to the future! Thanks for watching!
