Who Poisoned River Cartwright? The Slow Horses Season 6 Ending Explained

Who poisoned River Cartwright in the Slow Horses Season 6 finale? The shocking ending of Judgment Day leaves River fighting for his life after he touches a contaminated crowbar at his grandfather's house. But who left the deadly substance behind, and was River the intended target? In this Slow Horses Season 6 ending explained video, we investigate the clues behind River's apparent poisoning, the assassin who may be responsible, and the connection to the earlier events involving Jim and Jane. Earlier in the season, Jim encounters the crowbar at David Cartwright's house. The finale strongly suggests that the weapon was contaminated with a dangerous nerve agent, possibly Novichok. When River returns home expecting to reunite with Sid Baker, he moves the crowbar and soon begins struggling to breathe. The timing raises several questions. Was River deliberately targeted, or was the poison intended for anyone who entered the house? Did the assassins anticipate that River would return? And can Sid reach him in time to save his life? We also explore the clues planted earlier in Season 6, what the nerve agent means for River's survival, and how this cliffhanger could shape the next chapter of Jackson Lamb's story. *In this video:* Who likely poisoned River Cartwright How the crowbar became contaminated Jim and Jane's earlier visit to David Cartwright's house Why River suddenly collapses in the finale Was River the intended target?
