What to Pack for Kilimanjaro (Part 2) | Pat Falvey's Gear List & Packing Tips from 65+ Summits

Part 2 of Pat Falvey's Kilimanjaro packing guide. After 65+ summits and guiding over 2,000 people to the top of Africa, Pat knows exactly what you need in your bag and what you can leave at home. Watch Part 1 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID Book your Kilimanjaro expedition at https://patfalvey.com/product/kiliman... or visit https://patfalvey.com Getting your packing right for Kilimanjaro makes a real difference to your comfort on the mountain and your chances of reaching the summit. You will experience temperatures ranging from warm tropical conditions in the rainforest zone to well below freezing at the summit, often within the same 24 hours. That means layering is everything, and knowing which items earn their weight and which are dead weight comes from experience. In this video Pat walks through his recommended kit from inside the tent, covering the gear that matters most when you are living on the mountain for a week. This is practical advice from someone who has packed for Kilimanjaro more times than almost anyone alive — not a generic gear list copied from the internet. Pat Falvey Irish & Worldwide Adventures provides all clients with a detailed Kilimanjaro packing list and pre-trip preparation guidance as part of the expedition package. If you have questions about specific gear before booking, the team is happy to help.
