YOU WILL NEVER FEEL READY — Take the Step Anyway | Abel Damina

What does the spirit of faith look like in the life of a minister? In this powerful Day 2 Evening Session of the Lagos School of Ministry, Dr. Abel Damina teaches that the spirit of faith is more than knowing the right doctrine or making bold confessions. It is revealed in your attitude, courage, resilience, consistency, and willingness to take action. Using Moses, Joshua, Caleb, David, Elisha, Timothy, and other biblical examples, Dr. Abel Damina explains why effective ministry requires believers who refuse to quit when they encounter opposition. The spirit of faith keeps moving. It takes the step. It learns through experience. It follows well. It remains focused. And it refuses to abandon God's assignment simply because the journey becomes difficult. Dr. Abel Damina also shares from his own early ministry experience, explaining how he struggled with feeling unqualified because he had not experienced the dramatic visions and encounters others claimed to have. Yet he knew within himself that he was called to preach. His conclusion is powerful: you may never feel completely prepared. Taking the step is part of the preparation. In this session, discover: • What the spirit of faith really means • Why ministry requires courage and resilience • Why a believer must develop a never-give-up attitude • How cowardice can paralyze God-given potential • Why failure can become part of learning and growth • Dr. Abel Damina's personal story of stepping into ministry • Why you may never feel completely prepared • Why taking the step is part of your preparation • How Joshua learned through Moses • Why teaching must eventually become practical experience • The role of spiritual leadership and mentorship in ministry • Why ministers should not try to do ministry alone • Why every minister needs personal experience with God and ministry • The difference between what is taught and what is caught • Focus, consistency and following fully • Why the Great Commission must produce disciples and strong local churches • Why ministry must become transgenerational • The danger of greed in ministry • Why other people's lives may be connected to your obedience • Why believers should empty themselves into their generation before leaving the earth This teaching is a call to move beyond fear, excuses and procrastination. If God has given you an assignment, take the step. Learn. Grow. Remain faithful. And keep moving until the work is done.
