Allegro 6:37 II. Andante 13:40 III. Allegretto Mozart's Sonata for Piano Four-Hands in C major, K. 521, is significant as his final complete piano duet sonata for a single keyboard. Upon finishing it, Mozart sent the piece to his friend Gottfried von Jacquin (1767-1792) to share with his sister, Franziska von Jacquin (1769-1850), remarking that she should tackle it immediately despite it being "rather difficult". The sonata was eventually published by Franz Anton Hoffmeister at the turn of 1787-1788, with a dedication to Babette Natorp (1769-1844) and Nanette Natorp (1766-1791), daughters of a wealthy Viennese merchant who were part of the Jacquin circle.
