Kit Walker • "Fire in the Lake"

Off the legendary 'Windham Hill' label, this is one of my favorite artists from the late '80s era of jazz fusion. Kit Walker has an unparalleled sound as a keyboardist, evoking many great sights, memories and emotions when I hear it today. I first heard this song on 94Q's 'Jazz Flavours' show in 1989. Features Steve Smith on the drums, Paul McCandless on the sax and Andy Narell on steel pans.
