Hiking The Lake District - First Solo Hike

Cinematic Hiking Vlog of my first solo hike near Lake Windermere as part of my Weight Loss Journey. I am a true beginner and will make a lot of mistakes, I'm sure! This vlog was filmed on 16th July 2022, following a few weeks after starting the next phase of my weight loss journey, which is a focus on fitness. I wanted to do a hike and with the weather being absolutely perfect, I did some research to find a suitable trail and headed up to the Lake District for this adventure. This extended episode of The Diet Diaries covers the majority of the trail and my feelings and experiences as they happened. The first part was shot on a Sony ZV-E10 camera with a Sigma 16mm lens using the DJI Ronin RS3 gimbal – though as the trail increased in difficulty I switched to the GoPro Hero 10 as my primary camera. All audio was captured on the RODE Wireless II and I used the backup files in the final edit due to high sensitivity issues on the camera audio input. (This feature saved the video!)
