Arizona: Dwayne’s Jerky Store & RV Park

Welcome to the tiny town of Bowie, Arizona - just off Interstate 10 in the southeastern corner of the state. Bowie is Arizona’s pecan and pistachio capital and the landscape is a very lush green testament to that fact. Across the street from a nut grove and the Dos Cabezas mountain range is Dwayne’s Jerky store and rv park. The store offers a wide variety of jerky including some very exotic flavors as well as nuts, candy, souvenirs and more. Behind the store lies the Mountainview RV park, offering around thirty rv sites. The park is clean and level. The overnight fee was very reasonable. Not much to do or anywhere to dine out here but it is good for a quick overnight stop. (NOTE: At the time of our visit, their food truck was temporarily shut down due to staffing issues. Also, there is a busy railroad track directly behind the property. Luckily our AC drowned out the noise.) #rvlife #bowie #arizona #travel #jerky
