I took a group trip guided tour by Vesterheim Museum to Norway. I highly recommend their tours, and traveling with a group geared to your interests gives all kind of advantages. You get to meet people from all over with similar interests, your tour guides are knowledgeable and have access to places and people you may not, no hassle making hotel, transportation,event, food ect reservations or decisions, they take you places you may otherwise never think to visit, if traveling alone, you have your space in your own room, but enjoy company while sightseeing, eating and more. I do recommend arriving at your tour location a few days early, giving you time to adjust to time changes, rest, and leisurely enjoy food, shopping, strolling , things you may want to see that are not in the tour agenda. It’s also nice to extend your trip and visit places not on the tour while already at your location. All and all, this was a great way to travel, make sure you investigate your tour sponsor.
