A beautiful autumn day in Sweden, calm water, good friends, and another flatwater SUP foil challenge! This time I decided to try something different. For the first time, I swapped my usual GONG Fluid XXL stabilizer for the much smaller GONG Hypertrail M, paired with my GONG Sirus 3XL front wing. The day before, I had been SUP foiling in small wind bumps on Lake Roxen, where the smaller tail felt surprisingly good. But on completely flat water? That turned out to be a different story! Getting up on foil was definitely more challenging than usual, and it took some effort before I finally managed a successful paddle-up. We also enjoyed some pump foiling, time with friends and family, and the beautiful autumn scenery. Gear used: Board: Takuma Rise 110L Front wing: GONG Sirus 3XL V3 Stabilizer: GONG Hypertrail M Mast: GONG 70 cm HM Carbon Still learning, still experimenting, and enjoying every little bit of progress!
