Manhattan University 2026 Undergraduate Commencement

On May 16, 2026, Manhattan University celebrates the Class of 2026 at the 173rd Undergraduate Commencement on our Riverdale campus. Graduates from the Kakos School of Arts and Sciences, the O'Malley School of Business, and the School of Engineering cross the stage to begin their next chapter as Jaspers in the world. Keynote speaker Susan Solie Patterson — author, photographer, philanthropist, and a transformative presence at Manhattan University alongside her husband James Patterson '69 — delivers the Commencement address and receives a Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa. Undergraduate valedictorian Gabrielle (Elle) Feneide, a double major in Political Science and English with a minor in Religious Studies, delivers the student address. A Phi Beta Kappa scholar-athlete and the Founder and President of the Just Peace Club, Elle graduates with a 3.97 GPA and heads to Kansas to work on a 2027 Congressional campaign before pursuing law school.
