In this part, I get a win on Chilly Waters as Yoshi in Mario Party 3. This is played in Single Player against three Normal Difficulty CPU's. This was played on the Switch's NSO Expansion instead of the Nintendo 64. Read below for additional board information! ---------Mario Party 3 Features--------- Battle Mini-Games return, however instead of simply charging all players 10 Coins and starting the mini-game, a roulette will go off to decide how many coins all players must wager first. If the roulette ends on Zero, the Battle Mini-Game will not happen. Items have been upgraded, as players can now hold three items instead of just one. Additionally, Item Mini-Games are no longer board exclusive and there are a handful to play at random. Duels are also no longer board exclusive and have a handful to play at random. The means to enter a duel remain the same. The Game Guy Space has been added. Upon landing on this space, Game Guy will arrive and take all of the player's coins before taking them to his room for a Gambling Mini-Game. Here the player will play one of many randomly chosen games to try to double their Coins, or lose them all. Playing is mandatory; however, some games will allow the player to continue playing further for increased multipliers of Coins. ---------Board Info--------- Chilly Waters has a few interesting gimmicks. The major one is the Ice in the center of the board. The players can walk onto the ice and choose one of three different paths to take off of it. Upon reaching the end of a path, the player will randomly try to run off the ice and may succeed to get off of it. If the player slips while trying to run off the ice, they will be forced to end their turn immediately, regardless of how many moves they had left. Additionally, only one player is allowed on the ice at a time, if two players end their turns on the ice, it will crack, and the players will flee to the Southeastern corner of the ice. Upon landing on a Happening Space (?), Mr. Blizzard will throw a large snowball down the upper path and additionally either the left or right paths, depending on how the ball is rolling. Players on these paths can press the A button with good timing to jump over the snowball and stay on their paths. However, if they miss the timing, they will be chased by the snowball to the bottom of the left or right paths accordingly. Speaking with Mr. Blizzard at the top of the board, and paying him 5 Coins, can force a Snowball to be rolled as well. #marioparty #marioparty3
