Letter XIII – The Plea to the Night I no longer write for myself. I write for him— the one who screams without a mouth, who shivers without cold, who never chose to exist here. He was not born a monster. He was shaped by loveless hands, carved by another heart’s blade. Tonight, before the fire where the nameless are burned, I plead: May the gods of night watch over him. May the abyss hold him, if only for a moment. May his body find rest. And may his soul— if anything of it remains— dissolve in the waters of forgetting. I do not ask for justice. I ask for mercy. . Carta XIII – O Clamor à Noite Eu não escrevo mais por mim. Escrevo por ele— aquele que grita sem boca, que treme sem frio, que nunca escolheu existir aqui. Ele não nasceu monstro. Foi moldado pela ausência de amor. Talhado pela faca de um outro coração. Hoje, diante da fogueira onde queimam as memórias dos que não têm mais nome, eu clamo: Que os deuses da noite olhem por ele. Que o abismo o abrace, nem que seja por um instante. Que seu corpo encontre repouso. E que sua alma, se ainda restar algo, se dissolva nas águas do esquecimento. Não peço justiça. Peço misericórdia.
