The Canadian Arabic Orchestra - Haifa and Jenin - حيفا وجنين

حيفا وجنين – إيقاع الأرض وأصوات الانتماء بكلمات وسيم الكردي ولحنٍ من التراث الفلسطيني، كما قدّمته فرقة الفنون الشعبية الفلسطينية، جاءت "حيفا وجنين" بصوتٍ نابض يختصر التاريخ ويوقظ الذاكرة. العمل حمل توقيع التوزيع والإشراف الموسيقي لـ لميس عوده، وقاد العرض بكل احتراف وانيس مبيض، في أداء متكامل جمع بين القوة والهوية. برز أداء الكورال بجمالية جماعية آسرة؛ أصواتهم المتّحدة كانت كالهتاف الشعبي، تنقل الحنين وتصرخ بالكرامة، تارة بهدوءٍ عميق وتارة بانفجار لا يُقاوَم. مع تصاعد الإيقاع وترديد الأسماء – "حيفا... جنين..." – بدا وكأن الزمن تجمّد، وكل من في القاعة اندمج مع النغم. التصفيق الختامي لم يكن مجرد تقدير، بل كان مشاركة وجدانية في لحظة وطنية خالصة. Haifa and Jenin – The Pulse of Heritage, the Power of Voices produced by El Funoun Palestinian Popular Dance Troupe — "Haifa and Jenin" rose on stage as a living, breathing symbol of homeland and resistance. Lamees Audeh’s arrangement and music direction shaped the piece with emotional depth and authenticity, while Wanes Moubayed conducted the performance with clarity and energy. The chorus delivered a standout performance — their unified voices carried the lyrics with conviction and soul, resonating like a collective heartbeat of a people who remember and resist. The strength of their harmonies gave the piece its soaring power. As the rhythm grew and the names “Haifa... Jenin...” echoed louder, a rare intensity filled the room.
