How To Find Purpose In Your Work (Even If You Hate Your Job)

Does God care about your job? What if your work has a much bigger purpose than just earning a paycheck? Whether you love your job, hate your job, or spend every Sunday dreading Monday morning, there's something you need to know: God created you for meaningful work. Most of us spend a massive portion of our lives working. But somewhere along the way, we started believing that work is just something we have to endure so we can enjoy the rest of our lives. What if we've misunderstood God's plan for work? In this first message of our series, Thank God It's Monday, we explore what the Bible actually says about work, why God created us to work, and how your everyday job can become part of something much bigger than yourself. You'll discover: Why work was part of God's original design, not a punishment for sin. What the Bible says about finding meaning and purpose in your job. The difference between your occupation and your God-given calling. Why your work matters to God, even if you don't work in ministry. How to stop separating your spiritual life from your everyday life. How to partner with God through the work you already do. Whether you're a teacher, business owner, construction worker, parent, student, or working a job you don't particularly enjoy, God wants to be part of what you do every day. Your faith isn't just for Sunday. And your work isn't separate from God's purpose for your life.
