Big Bear Eagle Cam ~ Sub Adult Nestorations ~ Mrs BB Chases Off Part One 6.1.18

The 3 year old sub adult returned to the nest late this afternoon and moved some sticks around. The SA aka Shadow also found the fishing line and was pulling it up. Mrs. BB comes to the nest at the end of the video and chases him off - she goes to her branch - the SA will return again in part two of my video. Ground reports have said that four (4) eagles have been seen - two sub adults and two juvies. With Mr and Mrs BB that is 6 eagles now in the general vicinity! The SA is not threatening and is not interested in taking over this nest at this time due to its age. It is simply getting practice with stick building. In a couple of years, this eagle will be looking to find their own nest or perhaps will find a mate and build one from scratch as eagles are excellent nest builders. Thank you for watching!
