I Thought My Bridgeported RX-8 Gearbox Was Broken… It Wasn't

After breaking my bridgeported Mazda RX-8 at the track day, it's time to figure out exactly what went wrong. The gear stick was moving up and down far more than it should, making us wonder if we'd somehow managed to damage the gearbox or transmission. We get the RX-8 back on the driveway and start investigating the problem and eventually find a surprisingly simple culprit: a loose bolt on the PPF (Power Plant Frame). Could one loose bolt really cause all of this movement? This is the next chapter after our track day disaster, as we try to get the bridgeported RX-8 fixed and back on the road.
