Kwilena is Here! - Second Australind Train Now IN SERVICE - Original Timetable Restored

On Sunday, the 11th of October 2026, the second Australind train (named Kwilena and numbered set 3) ran its first passenger service between Perth and Bunbury, even though it wasn't officially supposed to start until Monday the 12th. In this video we spot Kwilena returning to Perth after its Sunday trip to Bunbury, with Rita Saffioti herself on the platform, also surprised at its earlier debut! After this, we head down to Kwinana to spot the last-ever TransWA coach at the station, as Australind replacement coach services end, with the original timetable restored the next day. Transitioning to Monday, we board what should have been the first outbound service of Kwilena, following the first-ever 6am trip of the new Australind from Bunbury to Perth. We take the service to Pinjarra, where we get the classic shot of Kwilena next to the old Australind. Finally, we also spot the newest C-Series set 138 testing at Mandurah Station at the end of the video!
