This is a 2026 live compilation of Metallica designed to flow like a concert and to annoy your car passengers. Phone-shot footage as well as crowd noise has been added to elevate that concert feel. Visuals as well as audio has been improved with audio also sounding heavier than original. I'll go in more detail at the technical aspects segment. Also audio delay-free listening devices are recommended since I edit these videos with audio delay-free headphones and obviously it's always nicer to watch when every instrument is in sync with the audio. :) We are closing in to the finish line in terms of M72 World Tour. There will be a couple of remasters of older videos and then one last project that includes all of the best song performances across the entire tour. The setlist along with timestamps will be added shortly after the live premiere.
I made this as a big fan of Metallica. I hope you enjoy and give me some feedback if you can come up with any. I enjoy listening to these by myself and if other people do too, it's a plus! At last I want to thank Metallica for allowing me use their material for making and ultimately publishing this video! Truly a one big Metallica family. :)

(TECHNICAL ASPECTS)
MAKING OFF
First I went through all the clips and then started experimenting with different setlist variations. Asking myself which songs are required to make the setlist work the best it possibly can. Again... every video is unique because they all ask for something different. Usually my preffered song amount is 20-26 but this one ended up being longer than usual because I found that I could create an amazing epic flow with these 31 songs. I had some shorter setlist variations but this one just felt too good to not use. I ended up leaving out a couple of songs to ensure better flow and not overly long video.
VISUALS
Visuals are enhanced to highlight details and the most important things and trying to imitate higher resolutions compared to full hd. This was done by some added sharpness and edited color palette. Video was rendered in 4K and 60 fps in order to get the best out of the enhancements.
AUDIO
Original audio kicked ass so I didn't touch it. I only touched the volume levels. A couple of songs sounded better when giving them an audio boost compared to the rest. Finally I adjusted the decibel levels of the entire video so it hits just right on YT. I had many different audio versions and ended with this one. I was able to find the perfect middle ground. I used FLAC audio format which has become my favourite format to use. It ensures the highest possible sound quality while maintaining some compression to keep it raw sounding.
TRANSITIONS
Transitions are decided based on what each transition asks for. Black cross fades as well as traditional cross fades are most commonly used but sometimes I utulize black screen in between happening transitions. Here and there I might add some special effects like between The Shortest Straw/Ride The Lightning trasnsition. There I used a simple lightning strike effect with black screen since that's what worked the best and got the best out the transition. On the transition between Batter/O&M I had to use a longer black screen moment for a more natural transition. But instead of just staring long at black screen I decided to create a wolf face effect on top of that which allowed for a much cooler transition. These songs are in groupings with relatively quick transitions in between. And those groupings are seperated by longer transitions with phone shot footage/real Metallica concert sound. This allows the compilation to flow smoothly just like one big concert. Audiowise I mostly let the clips blend into each other in cross fade fashion. But for example in the transition between FWTBT/Creeping Death the audio suddenly stops as Creeping kicks in. So there's hang time with guitar before the next song starts.
