5000人手锄肩挑打造的人工湖，是几代台山人的共同记忆 | 台山宁城公园

台城宁城公园，又叫人工湖，是一个面积达400多亩以湖为主题的公园，主要包含西湖、东湖、南湖三个湖区。 60多年前，这里原是一块又脏又乱的水稻田，居民纷纷要求进行整治。1957年3月，曾任台山一中校长的朱伯濂先生，在县人民代表大会上提出建议，要把这块脏乱地方改造为美丽的园林。这个提案，获得全场人民代表拍掌赞成，并被列入县的重要建设工程项目。 1958年春，台城建造人工湖的行动战鼓打响了。全城机关干部、职工、中学生四、五千人，在那个物资匮乏的年代，群策群力、手锄肩挑，筑好四周湖堤，堆成湖心小山，最终建成人工湖。 Taicheng Ningcheng Park, also known as the artificial lake, is a park with an area of more than 400 acres themed on lakes, mainly including three lake areas: West Lake, East Lake, and South Lake.
