Riley Fives at Christmas - 44871 and 45407 head the 'Cathedrals Express' around Kent - 23/12/14

With Christmas just around the corner, Ian Riley's LMS Black Fives Nos. 44871 and 45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier' would take charge of Steam Dreams' White Cliffs Circular tour from Victoria to Minster, running via Tonbridge, Canterbury and Dover. This would be the 'Riley Fives' last booked run of the year, with the pair heading back to their base at Bury on Christmas Eve. The video begins at a foot crossing near Nutfield, where we're able to capture the duo as they charge away from Redhill, providing a blistering performance in the process! A few hours later, and we opted for Marden, on the line between Ashford and Tonbridge. Once again, the 4-6-0s are in fine form as they race past the camera, running a few minutes ahead of schedule. The pathing stop at Tonbridge allowed for one more scene, and our final sequence of the year showcases the train passing through Edenbridge station.
